Desert Rose Selenite is a natural crystal formation with a flower-like shape that forms from a combination of gypsum (selenite) crystals, sand, and water over thousands of years. It is a rosette-shaped aggregate where flat selenite blades fan out like petals, with sand inclusions causing its characteristic brown and beige color. 

Forms in arid, sandy environments, often in salt water basins.
Water evaporates, leaving behind selenite crystals.
Sand becomes trapped in the selenite blades as they form, creating the signature "rosette" shape. 

Piece measures approximately 8.50" x 6.75".
